Gold's Gym Getup

For those of you who don't follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc..., this is what you missed out on earlier this week.
I can't even believe this is real life.
People seriously amaze me every day of my life.

It's a well-known fact that i like to 'observe' people. I just think it's so interesting to see what people do, and analyze it to try to figure out why they did that thing.
And i just think other people are interesting.

I've been tryin to hit the gym extra hard this week, tryin to hit one of my goals. (no, it wasn't a new-years resolution to go to the gym everyday, i already do that...)

I've also tried to eat healthier.
Me: 'yeah i think i'm gonna start making spinach smoothies! It can't be that hard, just put some fruit and ice and some coconut milk in a a blender and BAM!'
yeahhhh about that...sickest thing i've ever tasted.
Drank the whole thing anyway though. (poor college student, can't afford to waste)

Spinach smoothie FAIL.

So if any of you have any recipes or ideas of healthy spinach smoothies that you love, or any healthy things, i'd love to hear from you.

make skim milk or orange juice your base for the "green" smoothie. OJ does have sugar, but it really helps hide the taste of spinach.

My favorite way to make smoothies is to use yogurt instead of juice. It tastes sooo much better plus it hides the taste of spinach completely! This is one of my favorite recipes. For 2 servings I use 3/4 a cup of yogurt. (I prefer vanilla, but any will do!) 1.5 cups of strawberries, one banana and a handful of spinach. If you use fresh strawberries add in some ice otherwise frozen strawberries make it cold enough! Sometimes I will throw in a mango or some kiwi fruit just to add a bit of variety. Enjoy!!
